Warning: If you are in the middle of Setup, it is not advised to do a factory reset or unplug the Puck.
Before attempting a factory reset please try the options below.
A Gateway Puck is not connecting to WiFi
Push the Puck, rotate to the Settings (Gear) Menu and push to select. Then rotate to "Forget WiFi", push to select, confirm if asked, and wait for the Puck to restart. Then you can retry WiFi Setup.
A Sensor Puck is not discovered by Flair
Discovery can take least 5 minutes. If you're still not seeing a Sensor Puck discovered after 5 minutes, push the Puck, rotate to the Settings (Gear) Menu and push to select. Then rotate to "Unlink Gateway", push to select, confirm if asked, and wait for the Puck to restart.
Factory Reset
A factory reset is primarily used to reset the device firmware to the original factory standard.
Delete WiFi credentials
- Push the Puck, rotate to the Settings menu and push to select
- Rotate to "Forget WiFi" and push to select, confirm if asked
- Wait for the Puck to reboot
Break Connection
- Push the Puck, rotate to the Settings menu and push to select
- Rotate to "Unlink Gateway” - or - “Unlink Sensor" and push to select, confirm if asked
- Wait for the Puck to reboot
Note: A Factory Reset will not clear out a Puck's WiFi credentials. You must also do a "Forget WiFi" in the Puck's gear menu.
