Warning: If you are in the middle of Setup, it is not advised to do a factory reset or unplug the Puck.
If you are having trouble connecting a Gateway to WiFi, before attempting a factory reset, try doing a "Forget WiFi" in the Puck's Settings menu (the "gear" icon). This will clear out the WiFI credentials for the Gateway Puck.
If you are having trouble with a Sensor Puck, try doing an "Unlink Sensors" in the Puck's Settings menu (the "gear" icon"). This will unlink the Sensor from the Gateway Puck and allow it to be re-discovered in Setup Mode.
A factory reset is primarily used to put the original firmware onto the device. If you are having other issues with connectivity, responsiveness, or IR, it’s possible, it's unlikely that a factory reset will solve the issue.
- Push the Puck
- Rotate to the Gear icon and push to select
- Rotate to "Factory Reset" and push to select
- Wait for function to complete
