Warning: If you are in the middle of Setup, it is not advised to do a factory reset or unplug the Puck.
If you are having trouble connecting a Gateway to WiFi, before attempting a factory reset, try doing a "Forget WiFi" in the Puck's Settings menu (the "gear" icon). This will clear out the WiFI credentials for the Gateway Puck. Then retry WiFi Setup.
If you are having trouble with a Sensor Puck, try doing an "Unlink Sensors" in the Puck's Settings menu (the "gear" icon"). This will unlink the Sensor from the Gateway Puck and allow it to be re-discovered in Setup Mode.
A factory reset is primarily used to put the original firmware onto the device. If you are having other issues with connectivity, responsiveness, or IR, it’s possible that a factory reset will solve the issue.
- Push the Puck
- Rotate to the Gear icon and push to select
- Rotate to "Factory Reset" and push to select
- Wait for the function to complete
