Warning: If you are in the middle of Setup, it is not advised to do a factory reset or unplug the Puck.
If a Gateway is not connecting to WiFi...
Before attempting a factory reset, instead do a "Forget WiFi" in the Puck's gear menu. This will clear out the WiFI credentials for the Gateway Puck. Then you can retry WiFi Setup.
If Flair is not discovering a Sensor Puck...
Do an "Unlink Gateway" in the Puck's Settings menu (the "gear" icon"). This will unlink the Sensor from the Gateway Puck and allow it to be re-discovered in Setup Mode.
A factory reset is primarily used to reset the device firmware to the original factory standard. This will not clear out WiFi credentials. You must do a "Forget WiFi" in the Puck's gear menu.
- Push the Puck
- Rotate to the Gear icon and push to select
- Rotate to "Factory Reset" and push to select
- Wait for the function to complete
