You will need at least one Puck to work with your ecobee remote sensors. That Puck will act as a "gateway" to link your ecobee system to our Smart Vents.
There may be a few situations where you might want to choose a Flair Puck over an ecobee remote sensor. For example, Ecobee doesn't offer humidity tracking. The Flair humidity sensor can be used to target humidity ranges. This can be handy if you're not home, but you don't want to let your home get too humid. The Puck can open/close Smart Vents based on your preferences.
The Puck also offers in-room temperature control. If you have a house guest or use your home/room as a short term rental and don't want to give the guest access to your smart phone app, the user can set the temperature for that room on the Puck itself, rather than having to log into a smart phone.
