Flair devices that are battery powered will send battery alerts when the batteries need to be replaced.
If you receive a battery alert, replace the batteries in the device(s).
A Smart Vent battery should last about four years under normal usage. A Puck battery should last about two years under normal usage.
The normal battery range for a Puck is between 3.2 and 2.8V, and the normal battery range for a Smart Vent is between 3.2 and 2.5V. Flair will send a battery alert when the battery is below 2.4V.
Note: Rechargeable batteries can sometimes cause battery alerts to occur. Battery voltage can be checked by viewing the room Stats or the Home Statistics.
To view room stats:
- In the Flair app, tap the 3-dot menu for the room, and go to Stats
- Change the "Graph Data" to "Battery (V)"
To view Home Statistics:
- In the Flair app, tap the Flair menu, and go to "Home Statistics"
- Change the "Graph Data" to "Battery (V)"
