When pairing a Puck with a mini split, or other IR controlled device, Flair will download the IR codes to the Puck.
The IR codes are downloaded over a WiFi connection and may five or more minutes to download to a Puck, depending on the WiFi connection, so you'll want to be patient.
If the message persists for more than five minutes - or keeps re-attempting a download - move the Puck closer to the WiFi router so it gets a better signal. If it's taking a really long time, you may want to temporarily plug a Sensor Puck into power during the download so the batteries don't drain.
It's possible the IR download may have been interrupted, or not completed. You can force Flair to re-download the IR codes:
- In the Flair app, tap the Flair menu and go to Home Settings->IR Devices
- Tap the IR devices to expand it
- Tap "Redownload IR Codes"
