8x10 and 12x12 Vent Openings (not vent covers) - Options?

Hi - Anyone happen to have any ideas on what size smart vent can be used with an 8x10 and 12x12 vent opening?  These are the only two sizes I have in my home.  I was wondering if anyone knew of any ideas of using a larger or smaller size vent and perhaps just doing a little modification on my vents in order to get the smart vents to install if there is not an available option for my current size vents?

    I spent several hours looking for smart vents and analyzing the options; I was ready and excited to place my order, only to realize my rooms have 8x10 vents, and apparently these are not available despite people asking for them for years. Any idea of when these are going to become available? It’s a shame I could not place an order with the current Black Friday discounts.

    We have finished tooling 8x10s and will open preorders in the coming month or so. I expect them to ship in Q1 of ‘24. We have made a few tweaks to this, including the unit shipping fully assembled with a pull tab which I’m pretty stoked about. I hope you’ll sign up for our email list and order once preorders begin.
