Integrating with Ecobee
Is there any detailed information about how the integration between Flair and Ecobee function? Seems that you can/should basically either let Ecobee drive everything or let Flair. I'm trying to understand the pros/cons to see how those behaviors would best fit our home.

I am an ecobee user and have 9 Flair vents. At this point the system does a good job of balancing room temperatures. I have ecobee sensors in each room, so I only have one puck centrally located in the House. I set it to keep the ecobee in control of the temperature, and it works well. I use a schedule to even keep a couple of rooms a degree cooler than usual at certain times of the day. At this point I don’t believe Flair takes room occupancy from the ecobee into account, just temperature.

I wanted to add a quick update here...
Flair can use the occupancy readings from remote sensors from ecobee or Honeywell. To enable it, in the Flair app, go to Home Settings->System Settings and enable "Remote Sensor Occupancy".
Flair's Set Point Controller setting determines what "drives everything". Set to "Thermostat" and Flair reads set points and schedules from your ecobee. Set to "Flair App" and Flair controls the set point. If you let Flair control everything and are using a schedule, make sure your schedule is on Flair, not your thermostat (or it will conflict).

So, I have an Ecobee with the Flair Set Point Controller set to "Thermostat". I use Ecobee sensors, am on a Time of Use electric rate plan, have Ecobee's Eco+ enabled and have schedules set up in both Ecobee and Flair. The two schedules is a bit of a pain because if I make changes, I have to update both schedules. It sounds like maybe I should remove/deactivate the Ecobee schedule altogether (if that's even possible) and let the temperatures of my house be driven by just the Flair schedule. That should still let the Eco+ do it's thing, yes?

I would do the opposite. With the ecobee schedules you don’t really need to use flair schedules. The only time I have ever used them is if I wanted to keep one room a degree or so different from the set point. You don’t want them fighting with each other. Right now I don’t have any flair schedules at all.

Hi Cullen,
A Flair schedule may conflict with an ecobee schedule and we recommend having one or the other.
Additionally, a Flair schedule will take priority over any changes made by the Eco+ feature, so it makes sense to remove the Flair schedule as Chris McIntyre suggests.

Hello,
I have an ecobee thermostat which I have been able to use with Flair vents and pucks and also Ecobee room sensors. Everything seems to be working well except what I am going to describe below.
At some points in the day, although there is no need to turn on the furnace, the furnace turns on and the temperature in the living room reaches around 22. Sometimes this happen even when all rooms are set to "away".
The latest instance was this morning: Here is what I have:
I have one Ecobee thermostat and these are my rooms:
1. living room: ecobee thermostat, ecobee motion sensor, two Flair vents
2. bedroom1: ecobee motion sensor, Flair puck (gateway), Flair vent
2. bedroom2: ecobee motion sensor, Flair puck (sensor), Flair vent
Below is my schedule:
When I woke up around 8 in the morning, I felt warmer than usual so i checked the statistics.
As you can see right at 6:00 am when the schedule ends, the furnace has turned on and brought up the temperature to around 22 without any reason. my general set point is 18.5.
Some times I have noticed that the furnace is on without opening any of the smart vents and again this was when no rooms needed heating.
Could anyone help with this? I am almost sure that all my Flair and Ecobee settings are fine but let me know if have a specific one to check.
