Adding a 2nd gateway puck

In my original system configuration "office" was a gateway puck, "bedroom" was a sensor, and "kitchen" was a sensor. "kitchen" is right on the edge of coverage, showing no bars of signal strength. It occasionally becomes disconnected entirely. I decided I would add an additional gateway to try to get better radio coverage, so I changed "bedroom" to a gateway and reconfigured wifi. It now is operating correctly as a gateway. However, the "kitchen" sensor puck radio signal strength has not changed, which leads me to believe "kitchen" is still associated with the "office" gateway. How do I get the "kitchen" puck to re-associate itself with the "bedroom" gateway? I tried removing the batteries and reconnecting but that doesn't appear to have had the desired effect.
