House air venting

In my system when my Swamp cooler turns on a vent turns on at the same time to suck air out of my house and circulate the Swamp cooler air throughout. Will your smart vents work with this system to still close vents on rooms that don't need additional cooling and therefore ventilation?

    I realize it's not exactly the same issue, but I'm asking a similar question about 'Fan Only' times relating to ecobee here:

    Right now, our Smart Vent system is designed and optimized for central AC/heating, so will be able to use our automation to modulate Smart Vents based on temperature and the need for cooling. However, ventilation is not currently built into this model. 

    That being said, you can always use our manual mode to manually open/close vents based on your ventilation needs. Thanks for the question!
