KEEN makes an adapter.  I just ordered one.  $29 + $18 standard shipping.  I will post pictures once I get it in.

Any update on the trim kit? I am in a similar situation in that I need a couple 4x14 vents, but Flair has been making new sizes for 2 years

These trim kits reduce the vent opening size. It seems to me that this would work only if you want the maximum heating and cooling in that room to be reduced.

Paul is correct, we have noticed a difference since we installed the vent.  The smaller sizes has made it more challenging to stabilize the room.

Also, you will need to trim the KEEN adapter.  I used a hand file and trimmed about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch to make the FLAIR vent fit.

Anyone else had success with this? Thinking to pick up a Keen 4x14 trim kit and a 4x12 flair smart vent. I have an ecobee connected to HomeKit. Suppose I have to buy a puck as wll?

Yes, I ordered the mount a few months after the original post.  Had to file the insides to enable the vent to fit.  Not a fun task.

My husband says our vents are 13 3/4 x 7 3/4. What size vent do I want?

Hi Andi, make sure you are measuring the opening of the vent hole, not the actual register/cover. They vary on how much the trim overlaps the hole, so if you want to be sure, that’s how you do it.

    I would guess that’s a 6x12 vent.

Our business now offers Trim Kits for this brand in all available vent sizes. We can also make ones for the newer 8x14 Texas vent holes.

They are single pieces and the vent cover is flush to the top. Additionally, we offer it in either a sloped or a more modern 90-degree cut with rounded corners.
