I'm looking to buy this system for my house but I don't see vent sizes that match my house.

most my vents I need are 14 x 6

 

Also how does the secure to the ceiling, the pictures don't' show screws or are thy behind the cover?

Are the cover easily painted?

After the HVAC shuts off do vents that were closed reopen? I have my HVAC sent to turn the fan on regularly to distribute air and wouldn't want it blocked in some rooms

    Hi Adam,

    The sizes we currently manufacture are 4x10, 4x12, 6x10 and 6x12. We'll be making new sizes, most likely 6x14, but I don't have a timeline on that.

    The Vents. come with mounting holes and screws that secure it to the ceiling.

    Hi Adam,

    The covers can be easily painted. They are powder coated.

    If the system is off, Smart Vents maintain their last position.

    If the Fan is on, Smart Vents continue to open and close to maintain temperatures. We are tracking requests for opening Smart Vents when the fan is on. I'll add this one.
