General operation
We have a bedroom where when the heat first comes on in the morning, it gets much warmer, much faster than the rest of the house. Not good when trying to get extra zzzzz's. We are single zone using a Honeywell 9000 thermostat which is not located in said bedroom. Ideally we'd like to do two things daily - 1) when heat comes on in the morning, automatically close the vent at a given temp, then 2) open the vent, and keep open, at a given time for the rest of the day. Can do?

Hi Gary J,
You can do this without a doubt. The vent controls are generally thermostatically driven so rather than specifying that the vent should be open or closed, you can instead specify setpoints for each room on schedule (as well as marking rooms as 'inactive' if you'd like) and the vents will automatically open and close according to the indoor temps vs the setpoints.
Cheers,
Dan
