Upper floor config
I have two central systems in my home and I'm interested in controlling the upper floor system. There are four vents: one for each room and one in the hallway. I was planning on getting three vents and three pucks, would this work? I understand that extra airflow will be split between the remaining open vent(s) and the hallway, but as far as I understand, the only drawback of this setup is that my system would run for longer because of the wasted hot/cool air going into the hallway. Am I correct?
