Delayed Occupancy Sync Between Flair and Ecobee
There seems to be a significant delay between Ecobee seeing a room as occupied and Flair changing the status of the room from Away to displaying the set temp and opening vents.
In addition, vents that are in occupied rooms that have reached their desired temp tend to stay open longer than necessary. I understand vents need to be open to prevent damaging the HVAC, but I would think the system should be able to adjust by opening vents in other rooms (ideally unoccupied when available) but ultimately to help better balance overall home temperature.
This has become very noticeable in the colder season. By the time the vents in our basement do open, the overall average home temp is achieved which leaves us with a still cold basement and other floors warmer than needed.
I have tried hitting Refresh on the home screen to see if that would help with resyncing, but it seems to do nothing.
Set Point Controller: Thermostat
Remote Sensor Occupancy: Enabled
Default Hold Duration: Until next scheduled event
Home/Away Mode: Thermostat
