compatibility with Lennox iComfort Thermostat
I recently bought some flair pucks and vents last week and from the app it looks like it should control the iComfort thermostat. It doesn't seem to as changing the setpoint does not change it. Can Flair control the this brand of thermostat? I also noticed that there is an api for this thermostat. If flair does not control this thermostat are their plans to eventually have control over this thermostat?

Hi Mirko,
Thank you for your recent purchase!
Flair can work alongside any thermostat to automate the airflow control in your home. Additionally, there are a handful of Smart Thermostats for which we have an integration that allows us to read from and write to the thermostat to provide even more granular control of your home comfort.
Currently, we integrate with ecobee, Honeywell Home, Honeywell Lyric, Google Nest, Carrier Infinity, and Bryant Evolution thermostats.
Unfortunately, we do not have an integration with the Lennox iComfort line of thermostats. We do track demand for these integrations and if you will write in to support@flair.co and request an integration with the Lennox iComfort line we would be happy to add that ticket to the database where we track these requests.
Please email our support team and let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
The Flair Team.

Mirko - I would suggest you return your pucks and vents asap while they are under warranty. You can't really understand the lack of functionality for iComfort until you purchase. My experience is that without a fully supported thermostat (Honeywell, ecobee, etc) you are going to have an experience that is worse than before you installed these vents. For example, you wont be able to have vents close when heating but open during a recirculation phase.

Kevin, thank you for your comment. Can you describe in more detail what your experience was? Flair claims that they can work with any thermostat and your comment suggests that only one that is supported by Flair works well. Also, is there any other smart vent that is any better? It seems like Flair is the only real choice in this marketplace. I certainly don't want to spend >5K for install zones in my house. That is a recent quote I got.
