Can I use my Honeywell Home Thermostat with an Ecobee Room Temp Sensor to control Flair vent
I have a Honeywell Home thermostat. In my guestroom I want to control a Flair vent using an Ecobee room sensor. The Flair apps will not let me add the Ecobee room sensor, it opens the Ecobee App. In the Ecobee app a room sensor can not be added UNLESS it is connected to an Ecobee thermostat (which I have not). Is having an Ecobee thermostat a requirement to use Ecobee room temperature sensors? Within the Flair app I see "sensors" but they are greyed out, is there another way to add Ecobee room temp sensors?

Hi Remon Klaver,
Having an ecobee smart thermostat is required for communications with ecobee room sensors. Furthermore, the ecobee smart thermostat must be integrated into Flair to allow communication.
I suggest using a Flair Puck as a sensor for your guest room. The Puck will allow your guest to specify the room's set point by simply rotating the Puck.
Best Regards,
Burt
