do i need a flair puck

I have received my three smart vents and I already have a honeywell wifi thermostat.  Do I also need a flair puck to make the system work?

  Yes. You need a minimum of one configured as a gateway for the vents to communicate through.

  Per Flair:

  Every Flair system needs at least one Puck, configured as a Gateway and plugged into power using the supplied cable and adapter. The Gateway Puck is connected to your home WiFI and acts as a communication hub for all your other Flair devices (even if you only have one Puck in your system).
