how to setup puck in a room with a thermostat that is not controlled by Flair
It seems to me that having a puck in the same room as the thermostat (single zone and not controlled by Flair) is counterproductive. There are 2 smart vents in the same room. The question is what is the proper way to setup this configuration? My thinking is that the puck temperature should be equal to the thermostat temperature. Any thoughts?

Hi Mirko,
Thank you for writing in.
Your Living Room has two Flair Smart Vents in it. Flair is not able to read the temperature from your Lennox thermostat so Flair requires a Puck be assigned to the Living Room as a temperature-sensing device.
Depending on the location of your Thermostat and the Puck they may read slightly different temperatures. Your setup looks great the way it is.

I just came across Flair products and have been wondering about a similar setup. I'd like to use these to make my house more "balanced" but haven't been able to locate anything informative as to how the pucks interact with the thermostat or hvac equipment. I was planning on starting similar to Mirko's setup.
Is there a way to either communicate with my existing traditional thermostat (which I doubt), or swap it out for a "master" thermostat that'll handle the communication with my hvac equipment? Or are these products only utilized when the ac or heat is already running by isolating rooms?
