The 915MHz radio is based off a proprietary technology for how we communicate between between Flair devices. This sub-GHz radio is wholly separate from our IR blasters, which is how we communicate with IR devices. We currently have an Open API for software integrations, but we haven't yet worked with anyone making a hardware integration! We recommend that you contact hello@flair.co and someone from our engineering team will discuss this further.

Is that proprietary technology ZigBee?  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zigbee

Hey Greg K, did you ever get anywhere?  I'd like to control something besides the Flair vent with my Flair puck(s).  I like the puck and app controls, though I wish I could control the threshold tolerance myself and make it even tighter..  Anyway, I don't like the vent.  It's the second of such vent devices I've purchased (this and a different brand).  Both have the same issue.  They're not quiet.  Opening/closing is nosy, esp. when the furnace is running (whoosh).  And while it's closed, nothing I've done eliminates the whistling that occurs when the furnace is running.  All that being said, I'd love to use the puck with a duct-based damper.
