Vents open or closed in Away

Are the vents supposed to be opened in rooms that are currently away? We have a guest room that is in away but the vent is wide open. I'd like to see an option to open or close vents in away mode while also in system auto or some logic to open and close vents based on if the furnace blower is on. Colder rooms close and warmer rooms open and vice versa if on heat mode
