Using Flair with a Mini-Split - Auto Control
AnsweredHi - I have my Flair installed with my MrCool mini-split (both heat and A/C). What I'm wondering is if the Flair Puck allows for the Puck to be able to turn the unit off and on as needed when in 'Auto' mode. Basically, I don't want my unit running all the time, but want it to come on and turn off when it needs heating/cooling, similar to a normal thermostat in a home heating system. Does that functionality exist with the Flair Puck, or is it always on, regardless? I obviously don't need or want my unit on all the time, and would prefer to not have to manually control the system while checking in to see what the current temp is inside my room.
Any help/instruction anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
Yes, we can do that. If you go to the menu, Home Settings, then System Settings, you can change your Set Point Mode to Active Rooms. This will give you an active/inactive slider on each room tile. Setting a room to inactive will turn off the mini split.Comment actions
