Use mini-split remote instead of Puck?
AnsweredWhat happens if someone in the house uses the original mini-split remote to control the mini-split system rather than using the Puck/Flair App?
I could envision a scenario where a guest or babysitter just grabs the familiar remote instead of using the Puck to adjust the temperature.

Received this response from Flair Support:
If you use the original remote, it will temporarily overwrite the settings that the Puck had sent to the mini split. However, the next time the Puck communicates with the mini-split, all the settings from the remote will in turn be overwritten. This is due to how IR remotes for these types of devices send information (they send all the state information at once).
