Flair, ecobee & mini-split: manually resend state information

I have 1 puck, 1 ecobee 3 and a Mitsubishi Mini-Split.   Given the following scenario:

- Adjust temp on Ecobee

- Puck syncs temp from Ecobee

-Puck sends new state to Mitsubishi

- Signal is blocked from puck to Mitsubishi so state never arrives

- Ecobee, puck and Mitsubishi are now out of sync

I understand that if I then made an adjustment to my ecobee it would attempt to resync all the components at that point.   However is there a way to manually trigger the puck to resend the latest configuration to the Mitsubishi?  Either through the app or via the puck itself?   Does the puck attempt to automatically sync periodically even if the settings on the ecobee don't change?

Also, is there a way to change the polling rate that the puck checks the ecobee for command changes?
