Actual Use of Flair Scheduling and Alexa
Morning all:
So I am new to Flair and just starting using it. But have some questions. I have been able to get it working and communicating with my Mitsubishi Split via the Flair app. When I change something in manual mode, or override with a hold it sends the commands and works as advertised. It is probably me not understanding how it is supposed to work.
But the schedule . . . I have created a schedule and while playing around with it, it seems to work when it hits the exact "change" time. But I am confused on how it is designed to work. For example, I have the schedule set for 65 degrees during a time period. If I manually change the temp, or put a hold and then clear the hold it does not seem to go back to the scheduled temp. In playing around with it, I set the schedule to set the unit (room) inactive during the present time. I then "override" it with a hold and it turns on fine. I then clear the hold, but it just stays on. So basically looking for more info on the app and scheduling.
Also is Alexa: I can get Alexa to see the unit via Skills. I can adjust the "temp" via Alexa and that new temp changes the "Set" on the Flair homescreen, but it does not seem to change anything. It will not send any command to the unit even though it is set up to do so. More detailed, Alexa changes the "St" in the upper right of the Flair app, but not the setting on the lower panel of the homescreen where the blue arc is.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance . . .
J.
