Flair puck USB outlet power

Will the puck work off of a hardwired USB outlet. I spent a lot of time wiring in a recessed USB outlet and making a faceplate and it doesn’t seem to power up unless I use the included USB outlet.

    Hi Zach—we usually recommend using the Flair power adapter and cable, but in this case we want to help you make this work! I'm going to go ahead and make a support ticket out of this post so that we can have you speak with a support engineer on what may be going on in this case.
