    Hi Brian,

We have no downtime to report, but this may have something to do with ecobee's servers going down this morning. Starting at 6:55 AM EST, according to status.ecobee.com. there was an interruption to the app, web portal, and third-party integrations. They claim this was restored around 7:51 AM EST, but it looks like there is some residual downtime with third-party integrations.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you would like us to troubleshoot further why your Pucks may have gone offline, I can close this post (to create one unified stream of communication) and send your query over to a support engineer.

Not sure what the "exact" problem was. I noticed on my gateway puck that wasn't showing up in the app that on the screen the "wifi symbol" wasn't showing. I went into Settings and clicked "Make Gateway". Not sure why it wasn't a gateway anymore.... It has been unplugged a couple times the last couple days.

Seems to be all good now.

Seems like the gateway puck isn't responding at all now.

Is there a "reset" button on the device?

I'll contact support for more info

The device by itself (no buttons pressed) did a factory reset and OTA Update and now seems to be working fine again.
