Puck Scheduling

Is there a way to program a schedule that also controls the function of the heat pump ie. (heat/cool or auto(heat/cool).  I would like to program a schedule a lower temperature in the evenings to save power but since I need to run my heat pumps on auto I'm actually using power cooling the house in the evenings.  I need to run the auto setting on my heat pumps because we have cool evening and warm days.
