Serious Backpressure Limitations
Answered"Not only do we use pressure sensors to understand changes to pressure, but we also do not ever close more than 1/3 of vents in a system. This has shown to be safe by a Lawrence Berkeley National Labs study. To go further, we used a 100% safety margin over their conclusions."
One third? Are you serious? Have you folks ever heard of a bypass damper? Did you ever consider that some people may have one of these installed and may not want their $2000+ smart vent system crippled because of your overzealous safety parameters?
Please tell me you allow for this 1/3 figure to be modified at the customer's behest. 1/3 is utterly laughable.
