Whose Schedule Prevails? Flair or Ecobee?

I can set schedules for my Ecobee thermostat, and I can specify that manual changes revert to the normal schedule with the next schedule period.  When I do this, manual temperature changes that I make to a Flair puck that deviate from the Ecobee schedule's set point do NOT revert to the Ecobee's schedule...ever.  The manual temperature remains set on the Flair puck.

However, I can set schedules for my Flair system, as well.  And if I create a Flair schedule that matches the Ecobee schedule, things seem to work as expected.     I think.

But WHY should I have to set the same schedule on the two different systems?  This will inevitably lead them to getting out of sync as one gets changed but not the other.

And if I've defined two schedules on two systems, whose schedule prevails in the end?  Is there one that "wins out" over the other?  This is especially a concern over time if the two schedules get of of sync.

I'd really rather defined ONE schedule on the Ecobee system and have it be the MASTER schedule on both systems.  Is that possible?
