Google home thinks vents are thermostats

I have a simple system with 1 puck and 7 vents that I currently control from the Flair App. I am trying to control them from Google Home. I easily added the house and it found all the vents, but it thinks they are thermostats, so they are impossible to control. Any ideas?

    I had the same problem. It would be really nice if Flair had the option to report the vents as Dimmer Light Switches instead of thermostats so that Google Home could easily control the vents as needed.

    I found the work around by connecting Flair -> SmartThings -> Google Home.

    The device driver for SmartThings does report the vents as Dimmer Light Switches. So I can now ask Google to set my "___" vent to "50%".. etc
    ...or on..or off.

    I think I bought the SmartThings device driver for like $20.
