Will it work?
Just wanted to double check if Flair will work for my problem before I buy. I've got a cabin with just the main floor and finished basement; total of 1,600 sq ft. The whole thing has one central HVAC system. The downstairs is always 6-7 degrees colder than upstairs. I basically need more heat downstairs in the winter and more cold upstairs in the summer and I can't do a traditional zone system because the duct work feeds both levels. Thinking this maybe the route to go. I already have a standard Honeywell smart thermostat (non-lyric) and believe it should be compatible too.

I also have a main floor and a built out basement. I have 4 flair vents upstairs (1800 sq ft), and 4 flair vents downstairs (ceiling mounted). Not all my vents are flair.
I am trying to avoid freezing the basement out when the AC comes on.
As you can see in the photo, the AC comes on at 8pm and cools the upstairs (ran for about an hour). The basement is already cool enough, so all the flair vents down there are closed. My basement is no longer freezing!
