per room set up question
i have one ecobee in the house controlling one HVAC system, single zone.
the house is split in two separate spaces.
each space has its own puck (2 pucks total, one in unitA and second in unitB) and a third is a gateway puck to talk to the ecobee
each subroom in each of the units has a smart vent and an ecobee sensor.
what im trying to accomplish is being able to control UnitA and UnitB separately and also be able to control the vent in each room with an ecobee sensor, can this be done?

Hi Alexander Flower,
Thanks for your questions.
All rooms with a Smart Vent will need a temperature-sensing device if you want the Smart Vents to open and close via the Flair automation. In your case, this temperature sensor can be a Flair Puck, an ecobee thermostat, or ecobee room sensor.
You can control each vent separately, but without a Flair Puck this control will have to happen via the Flair app. Controlling Unit A and Unit B separately is a bit nuanced. Since both are heated and cooled via a single outdoor condenser, you will not be able to heat one unit and cool the other. You can establish whatever set points you want for each space, but need to keep in mind that your thermostat will be trying to satisfy both units and their varied set points. If you have any further questions, please email us -- support@flair.co
