Flair puck "Thermostat mode" clarification
I have searched and searched for a definitive answer to what seems to be a fundamental question, but I only find contradictory or vague statements.
When Set Point Controller is set to 'Thermostat' mode, can I still use the Flair app to remotely send new temperature setpoints to my mini split, and then have the mini split self-regulate to maintain that temperature without Flair cycling the unit on/off? I want the mini split to modulate its own heating/cooling output rather than having Flair turn the whole unit on and off repeatedly.
In summary, I want the flair puck to operate as a dumb local remote that I can use remotely.

Hi Steve Turner,
You should be able to achieve the operation you mentioned above, assuming your Flair home has only mini splits and no central system with a thermostat, by turning off Room Sense for your mini splits.
You should set the fan speed to Auto so the mini split can modulate that as needed.
You can send set points to the mini split using the Puck or Flair app, and the mini split will run until it determines the room is satisfied.
You mentioned using Set Point Controller = Thermostat, but the SPC option should not change the behavior if your home is simply set up with mini splits. If you mentioned this for a specific reason, please clarify what equipment you have and what behaviors you noted.
