Gap to wall

I have a gap due to the way the old vents were made.  Can I buy an aftermarket vent cover (the white metal part) that would have more of a return so it would sit against the wall?

  Scott,

  Cutting the excess metal can be a complicated task. I think that your best bet would be to fabricate a thin frame out of wood to shim and sit the Flair vent on top of it.
