Vent orientation

My house has been through a lot - and some of the vents have odd bits of framing blocking part of the region behind the vent.  I've seen the https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1116/7826/files/Smart_Vent_Engineering_and_Dimensional_Data_3af75276-164e-4bed-8894-ba7beaaed315.pdf?v=1636117183 vent dimension drawing, and I was wondering if, when mounted in the wall, is there a required orientation?  Assuming it helps, can I rotate the vent 180 degrees so it will actually fit into the wall?
