Using smart thermostat as controller ?

If i use the smart thermostat and set it to a certain temp, will flair try to balance out the temp in all the rooms by open/close vents , And what happens if the themostat hits the temp before all the others.. does it just shut off?

    Flair will prioritize rooms that are set to active but yes, if the Setpoint Controller is set to Thermostat, the room with the thermostat will dictate the equipment cycling.  If the Setpoint Controller is Flair App, Flair will gently walk the thermostat to more actively hit setpoints across the rooms.  We generally use averaging although if you ask support there are a couple alternative algorithms available as well.
