That's the way it should work. I've got a 3 zone system, 3 Ecobees, 5 Flair vents. Why are you thinking this is incorrect? Are you seeing issues?

Hoops - try removing the vent itself (not just the decorative cover) and turn it 180 degrees. Sometimes just having the air hit a vent's louvers from a different direction is all you need

Do you have Remote Sensor Occupancy enabled in Flair settings? If so and it's still not working, try going into the Ecobee app, turn Follow Me off, sync the integration, then turn Follow Me back on.
