Fair's Energy Events is a demand response feature offered through your local utility. If Flair doesn't offer Energy Events in your area, ask your utility about partnering with Flair.
What can I expect?
When an Energy Event occurs, your temperature will adjusted up or down and equipment may be turned on/off.
Why do Energy Events occur?
Your utility is managing the load on the power grid and needs to reduce some of the energy used by your home.
How will I know when an Energy Event occurs?
You will get a notification an hour prior to an Energy Event. During an Energy Event, "Energy Event" will be displayed on the Puck and a green notification will be displayed in room tiles.
How do override and Energy Event?
An Energy Event can be overridden by rotating the Puck or by dragging the blue temperature slider in the Flair app, and a confirmation will be displayed.
