Flair Smart Thermostat and Smart Vent Request
This is just a general question in that why hasn't Flair developed a smart thermostat? Integration is fine with my current smart thermostat (Nest), however, it does adds an additional layer of complexity to an already complex system. Having a completely Flair controlled system would be ideal in controlling my current HVAC system.
Another ask I have is to please put a reset button on the Flair vents. Every so often my vents lose connectivity to the puck and, unfortunately my vents don't have wired power connection, I have to unscrew the battery compartment and then screw it back in to reconnect. As of now, I haven't been able to figure our why it happens, I just know it happens enough to be very frustrating.

Hi Marcus,
Thank you for writing in and thank you for the suggestions.
These are suggestions we have received from others as well and will absolutely share them with our leadership team.
It sounds like this may be a signal strength issue and we would like to investigate further. I am going to create a support ticket and a member of our support team will be in touch to work with you directly.
Please see this article that talks about how to check the signal strength to your devices: https://support.flair.co/hc/en-us/articles/360044757271-Home-Statistics-Signal-Strength-Set-Point-Room-Temperature

I completely agree that Flair needs to develop your own thermostat. I’ve had Flair vents and pucks in my house for over 2 years and I’ve been waiting for this. I love the cooperative nature of your interop, but a Flair manufactured and support high quality smart thermostat is what I need. It is time :) Thanks.
