Can't set Daikin mini-split heat below 64 degrees
Pretty happy with my Puck so far but I'm stymied by one thing.
We have a Daikin mini-split. When using the Daikin remote, in Auto (heat+cool) mode we can set a range with 64 degrees as a minimum. However, if we switch to heat-only mode, we can set it as low as 50 degrees.
However, the controls in the Flair app for the puck will not let me set a temperature below 64 degrees no matter what. In Manual mode, I can't enter a value below 64, even when Mode is set to heat only.
In Auto, I can set a temperature as low as 50 degrees, but it doesn't matter. Anything below 64 will still run the heat pump until it gets to 64 degrees.
How do I leverage the capabilities of my heat pump with the puck to set a heat temperature below 64?

Hi Joe Nardone,
We generally store a set of commands for mini splits with temperatures down to about 64°F. In your case, if you wish to have the mini split kick on only when the temps are below 64 you can use the Flair Smart Away feature. To use this you would set your Smart Away Minimum to say 50°F and the mini split would only cycle on when the temps in that room drop below 50. You would also need to set that room to Inactive/Away.
We'd like to take a closer look at the issue you are reporting regarding "the controls in the Flair app for the puck will not let me set a temperature below 64 degrees no matter what". You can submit a ticket to our Technical Support Team at https://www.flair.co/contact. Please include a photo of the errors or warnings you get when you try to establish a set point lower than 64.
