10x16 vent opening - ideas?

Very excited that we now have 10x10s - however, my hottest room has a 10x16 vent opening. Only options I can think of are 1) wall up 6" of the vent, or 2) use 2 flairs in the same vent. Any other ideas, or thoughts on those options?
