Not understanding how vents operate when Themostat is in auto cool/heat mode.
I just got a few smart vents and smart puck. I am using an Ecobee and have configured the ecobee integration.
I am struggling to figure out how to configure the application to do what I want. I want the temperature for all rooms to follow the set points of the thermostat.
I leave my thermostat in Auto Heat/Cool mode almost all of the time with set points of 67 for heat and 74 for cool. What I want is if heat is active and rooms are above 67 degrees, those rooms' vents close and open if below that. If cooling, I want rooms above 74 degrees to open and below 74 degrees to cool.
The Flair app isn't making sense to me.
I have set point controller set to Thermostat, mode is Auto Heat/Cool, but all of the rooms seem to have a set point of 71 (the average between the 2 temps?) That obviously wouldn't be very useful.
What am I missing?

Hi Todd Stotesberry,
I see from the log files that your ecobee is in heat mode with a 65F set point.

Flair has read this 65F set point and propagated it to all rooms in your Flair home.

I can see you wrote in 5 days ago. On January 5 I can see that Flair read HEAT mode from the ecobee that's what "Sys-ThirdParty" means. Then "User" changed mode to AUTO HEAT/COOL - this means that the Mode in Flair was changed.
When Flair is reading from the ecobee, the mode on the ecobee has to be AUTO HEAT/COOL. Changing this in Flair does not affect the ecobee.

I hope this helps.
