Pumping cold air in basement using the fan only.
Hi,
I picked up a single bridge, puck and vent to test the system out. After messing around with it, I'm wondering how the system can handle using the fan always running in the summer, to pump the cold air from the basement when the AC isn't running. Usually I plug all the vents in the basement, and cover the returns on the main floor so it pulls hot air from the second floor. If I continue to do this, will the system just work?

Hi Leigh McRae,
Thank you for reaching out.
We would be happy to discuss your Flair questions in more detail. I will create a ticket for you and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.
I also want to address what you said about covering the return vents. Closing return vents in an HVAC system is generally not recommended. I recommend that you discuss this with your local HVAC professional if you have not already.
Regards,
The Flair Team
