Is Flair Puck a Energy Efficient Products?
I could not find Flair Puck on the list of SMART THERMOSTATS
https://www.energystar.gov/products/heating_cooling/smart_thermostats
Our state offers $100 rebate for
| ENERGY STAR® certified Smart thermostats | Up to $100/thermostat (limit 4) |
Why does't Flair work with them to add Flair products into that list?
I hope it will be added in the near future.

Hi Yuantu,
Flair has been in conversations with Energy Star, and this is something we're looking into actively. However, Energy Star let us know that they don't yet have a category for devices like ours—smart mini split thermostats. They will definitely let us know when that category up and running, at which point, we will start going through the process for Energy Star.
Thanks for the question—we appreciate it!
All the best,
Finn

Hi Finn,
Please notice that is total $400 rebate. I would buy 4 of them if Flair Puck is on the list. (ENERGY STAR® certified Smart thermostatsUp to $100/thermostat (limit 4). )

Hi Yuantu,
Finn was actually mistaken in this and I went ahead and edited his response. Our CEO has been in conversations with Energy Star and we look forward to submitting our product to their list once they have a category designed for us. Smart mini split controllers/thermostats don't qualify for the smart thermostat Energy Star designation. They will have to create a new category. Once they do that, we'll continue our conversations with them!
Cheers,
John

Hi John,
Do you know that Gree ( The world's No. 1 air conditioner producer) pick you as their Integrated Controls Package work with Honeywell T6 Pro Smart TH6320WF 2003.
That was why I track you. I hope you could provide more detailed circuit diagrams. We have a lot of requesting for getting this kind of setting.

Requires Honeywell T6 Pro Smart (TH6320WF 2003) WiFi thermostat that turns on the secondary heat source at 40°
and "Set Point" Programmable Flair Gateway (115v) WiFi 2.4Ghz Puck that will ensure the Gree mini split heat pump will
be on when thermostat turns off the secondary heat. Appropriate WiFi accessibility is provided by the homeowner and not
included in this package. -
Hi Yuantu,
Yes, that link is from the MASS Saves rebate program in Massachusetts. Flair Puck Pro is an approved integrated control that qualifies for secondary heat rebates. Flair Puck Pro needs to be professionally installed and requires an ecobee or Honeywell WiFi connected thermostat and at least one mini split (any brand) capable of heating. You can read more here:
All the best,
Finn
