Flair and Ecobee discrepancy in temperature
Hello,
I have Ecobee and Flair installed throughout my house. Below is my setup:
- 1 ecobee on main level
- 1 puck on lower level
- 15 total vents in 8 different rooms and each room has a smart sensor
- Flair is the set point controller
- Ecobee has all schedules disabled on all remote sensors
- Ecobee hold duration is "until I change it"
What I am seeing is that ecobee at times will have upwards of a 6 degree delta between what I set flair at and what ecobee sets at. This causes some disterbances in the rooms in my home. Some are too cold and some are too hot. I am not quite sure of the reasoning behind this but right now it is extremely frustrating trying to keep the home warm where I want. I also would like to have 2 of the rooms 3 degrees warmer than the others but it seems to be difficult to even tell ecobee to start. Please advise.
Thanks,
-
Hi Chris,
This seems pretty straight forward to solve, but not knowing what your settings are, the best way we can help is for you to contact Support. They can take a look at your system and settings and let you know the best way to get results based on your unique configuration. I'll create a ticket from this post.
As a quick note, if you've got Flair as Set Point Controller, then Flair will be controlling the set point on your ecobee and what you see on ecobee may be different than what you see in Flair.
All the best,
Finn
