Fallback control from thermostat to vent
I currently have a puck and vent in one room (with dumb thermostat on this zone).
I want to improve my setup with a smart thermostat on the zone, and have the automation adjust the smart thermostat SP to achieve desired puck temperature, with vent open. THEN, if the smart thermostat is placed on Hold, it would revert to the current control, with the vent controlling puck temperature.
Is this acheveable with the Flair system? Will any HW thermostat work?

Hi Don,
Flair integrates with ecobee and Honeywell WiFi-connected smart thermostats. On the Honeywell side, we support Honeywell Home (Lyric) and Honeywell TCC models.
Integrating a smart thermostat with Flair allows you to do two things:
- Read set point changes from the smart thermostat to Flair
- Have Flair control the smart thermostat by sending set point adjustments
This is a setting in Flair called Set Point Controller. You learn more here:

Can you explain more what you mean by "smart thermostat is placed on Hold"?
All the best,
Finn
