Flair vent cover options
I have two 10x10 Flair ceiling vents. My problem is that there is now a cold air draft directly on a seating area. The previous vents had adjustable vanes that could redirect airflow to a chosen direction, but the default Flair vents have no adjustments.
Does Flair make any directional vent covers? Or does anybody know of a good third party vent cover that will work over the top of the Flair louvers?

Hi chom,
We do not currently manufacture alternate vent covers for our 10x10 (or other square) Smart Vents.
This is a very common issue in the industry and the most common solution is to purchase a deflector such as the one I will share a link to below. These are installed over the existing vent and can serve to prevent air from blowing directly on seating areas in a certain direction or area. The example I am sharing below is adjustable, which will allow you to place it on the particular side that directs the air toward your seating area. You can search vent deflector on Google and probably find several manufacturers of these.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Regards,
The Flair Team

I have already purchased a similar vent deflector, but it is not the most visually appealing. Also people should know that magnets can't stick to Flair vent covers. (I ended up putting two small ferrous drywall screws on ether side of the vent for the magnets to hold onto)
I was really hoping somebody would know about a 3rd party vent grill that does not need to fit inside the vent opening.
