4x14 size using 6x14 and 4x12

Since 4x14 is not yet available, is it possible to purchase a 4x12 and 6x14 to assemble a 4x14 register? I’m wondering if the unit can be taken apart. Thanks.

  Hi Doug,

  Disassembling and/or altering a Smart Vent will void the warranty.

  While it's not something we generally recommend, we do have some customers who have made their own inserts. If you go this route, we'd be curious to know what you come up with!
