To add a new mini split, window unit, or portable device to an existing Flair home:
- Tap the PLUS button and select one of the following:
- Add Mini Split
- Add Window Unit
- Add Portable
- Follow the in-app flow to discover and configure the device as well as the Flair Puck that will be controlling it.
Please have your remote control handy. Flair will ask for the brand and model number of your remote. The model number may be printed on the front, back, or inside of the battery compartment.
If you can't find a code set using the model number of your remote or the model number of your indoor unit, please contact the Flair Technical Support Team for assistance - flair.co/contact. Please send us the brand and model number of the remote as well as pictures of the front and back of the remote.
If you will be controlling your mini split with a 2nd-generation Flair Puck, you will be asked during setup whether your indoor unit has a display screen. If it does, answer Yes to that prompt, and your 2nd-generation Puck will show the Room Sense-adjusted set point that was sent to your mini split.
