Resolution for anyone that sees this later.

Ben was great, confirmed the troubleshooting steps, and when that didn't resolve the issue sent me a new vent.  it actually got here a few days ago, but I was only able to install it this morning.  Everything working great again.

    Thanks.

Not helpful if you don’t share what they did to fix it. I’m having the same issue with a few of my smart vents - others online just fine.

Um, it’s right in my post. “confirmed the troubleshooting steps, and when that didn't resolve the issue sent me a new vent.”

Mine had been online and working fine for a long time before this. No idea what they saw on their end, but whatever it was, they replaced my vent.

Aww dang I missed that - my bad. Well shoot was hoping there’s some steps to try because they have been working until we hard wired them. Others took to hard wiring just fine but a few still offline. Any other troubleshooting steps you recommend?

I did whatever the app said to do to fix it, and support asked something I think. Plus, whatever they see on their side. I remember trying the fix network option a few times. That usually does it if a vent connects to a distant puck and forgets to switch back later. Maybe one a year that might happen. None of my pucks are “far”, some are just closer.

Since you switched power sources, I would try switching back to battery and see if that resolves it. Then you’ll know it’s really a power problem or the problem stays.
