Can I use a Flair Puck to change the set point for the entire Zone?
Hello!
My current system uses Flair as the SPC, a Gateway Puck, and Ecobee sensors (no sensor pucks). The HVAC is a central system controlled by an Ecobee (no mini splits or additional zones).
Can I use another Puck to adjust the set point for the entire Zone? (See circled item below) The use case is for guests/household members without the app to be able to adjust the target temperature? I've reviewed both Puck Settings article and and SPC article, but there was no clarity on this specific point.

Thanks!

Flair Pucks are assigned to a room in Flair and adjustments to the set point on the Puck are only applied to that room. You cannot update the set point for all rooms (or the default home set point) from any one Puck.
In a situation like this where your temperature-sensing devices are mostly ecobee thermostats and remote sensors, you can run your Flair system with Set Point Controller = Thermostat and leave the heating and cooling decisions to your thermostat, which will also allow anyone without the app the ability to change set points directly on your thermostat.

Thanks for the reply. I initially did use the Ecobee thermostat for this very reason (guest access to SPC), but its ability to balance the temperatures between the rooms was not as good as when Flair controlled the SP.
Base on your response, my solution is going to be putting a cheap Android/Chromebook tablet (maybe in kiosk mode) with the Flair app installed in a common area.
Thanks,
Brian
